Charleston’s best-known restaurateur turned 88 a week ago. He wanted to do something special for his birthday. He decided on a colossal collage of photos depicting his family, loyal customers, politicians, civic leaders, celebrities – all the people who helped grow his tiny pizza joint into one of the most famous restaurants in West Virginia.

The collection of 1,050 pictures includes customers, family members, restaurant staff, celebrity friends and prominent Charlestonians will be hung in the dining room of his restaurant.
